Endorsement for Morris Dancing shock
In an interview in today's Guardian actress Jane Horrocks admitted to "much
preferring morris dancing" to ballet (see
http://arts.guardian.co.uk/theatre/drama/story/0,,2287169,00.html)

May not seem a lot to go on I know, and she may have been being ironic, but
given the rarity of anyone outside the folk world seeing morris dancing as
anything other than embarrassing, this seemed worthy of note.

Now that I think about it, ballet has got to be worse, hasn't it? Which
would a kid a rather admit to: "My Dad's a morris dancer" or "My Dad's a
ballet dancer"?

Maybe what we need is a Billy Elliot-type film but based around morris.

Line dancing was the intermediate stage between singular point dancing
and square dancing.

Biblical value of pi.

And the next step in that direction is when they have the first
barn-raising in orbit and decide to hold a cube dance to celebrate.
