Any Birdwatcher type folkies here?
I'm a casual 'Back Garden' or 'Occasional walk in the country' birdwatcher.

I'm also a Folksinger

I was recently asked to perform at a friends (very keen birder) 65th
birthday party.
I wrote a song for him "Town Centre Twitching"
It tells the story of a bloke who is keen to go and tick a lifer that
appeared on his patch - but his missus has other ideas and demands he takes
her shopping.

The idea is to see how many species you can spot in the words of the song.

To listen go to
www.soundclick.com/troubleatmill

And click on "Town Centre Twitching"

Hope you find it amusing and if you figure out how many birds are in there
email me and I'll tell you if you are right or not

Have fun

That's truly TERRIBLE Graham. You should be shot!

I lost count at about 15 - bet it's more like 30.

But a deeply moving and spritual song nonetheless (speaking as a keen
naturalist and lifelong member of the RSPB - but NEVER a tw**cher)!

If you make me follow that at Gregson Lane I'll.. I'll... beat you to
the flowers song...

Now, rhymes with Vipers Blugloss and Bastard Toadflax..?
