On September 12th and 13th there will be a Seaside festival in Morecambe 
featuring performances from many great shanty and sea song performers 
including: Andy Kenna, Paul Sirman, Benny Graham, Keith Kendrick and 
Sylvia Needham, Geoff Higginbottom and  One Sheet Short.
There is free entertainment outdoors on Saturday followed by a ticketed 
concert of sea song in The Platform.

On Sunday there is further free shanty and maritime related goings 
outside The Platform plus in the evening a ticketed performance inside 
from the one and only Sid Kipper with his Cod n Ships show.

There`s also going to be a visit from the RAF Battle of Britain display 
team, The Bradford to Morecambe classic car run, More live music on the 
prom and stuff for the kids including  Punch & Judy, street theatre, Dr 
Sveson's amazing Flea Circus, story telling from Taffy Thomas, sand 
sculpture and more.
