And this one is nothing like a news bulletin. It is like a
politically-inspired polemic, with very little apparent understanding of
the underlying issues.

Wait until next week. I was at Holyrood yesterday. They had an emergency
meeting of the parliament the day before, but decided against taking any
votes. Our daughter line-manages the reporting teams, and says that next
week when the parliament is back from recess there is every possibility
of a censure motion against, or a vote of no confidence in, MacAskill.
Will be overtime for the parliamentary report team getting every last
word correct.
Stable door/horse etc but this issue is about to divide the Scottish
Parliment like nothing before.
Personally, I doubt that Fred Bassett was really responsible, and I
don't mind the Americans all boycotting whisky as long as it doesn't
mean I have to put up with cheap supermarket offers of the dead ordinary
Johnny Walker blends they seem to prefer... keep that, sent the decent
single malts back!

And the implication in the subject line that it had the approval
of John Peel is bollocks.
