No music, he just came in for a drink and a listen to the general chaos 
of Kelso at 12.40am.

Phil and Aly had been doing an openair gig at Kelso racecourse - £18 a 
head, plus £100 per gazebo, bring your own seats. Audience apparently 
300, not a bad venture for the promoters.

Aly off to bed, Phil still roaming the town with friends. We played a 
lot of very loud tunes and got the pub dancing until we were forcible 
ejected.

A good night! I couldn't afford the gig, and anyway had to be doing to 
open mic and late session. A good number of our members went though.
