Stanley Robertson RIP
Since nobody else has posted the sad news of Stanley's death, I offer a
link to the obituary in today's Scotsman:

I was fortunate enough to hear Stanley twice. His singing was grand;
but his story-telling held me gripped to an extent where I could hardly
breathe. I sat there, unable to move, feeling like a three-year-old
with eyes as big as saucers and disbelief totally suspended. That was,
for me, the true magic of the man.

It's been a bad week for folkies. In the US, Sandy Paton and Sandy Ives,
and word is that Mike Seeger is extremely ill.
