Well, the police's overreaction was silly yes, but it was also silly
to advertise it on Facebook  -  though I don't think we were actually
told how many people could see the advert, one must presume it was not
made private in any way by the fact that apparently the police could
see it.

I remember that my brothers as teenagers got into trouble with my
stepfather because they'd invited friends to a party saying "Bring
your friends!".  My stepfather was quick to countermand this saying
that everyone invited must be personally known to one or other of my
brothers.  Even being younger than them, I thought this sensible at
the time, let alone all these years later!
