Politics
I've been watching the licensing issue discussed on this board with
growing dismay. The dangerous pianos in particular seem nothing short
of bizarre. I've also been keeping a close eye on the way the
terrorism bill is being abused by the police force. It's all leaves a
rather bitter taste in the mouth.
Sadly civil servants and the police force aren't elected and can't be
forced out of power. But the people who bring in legislature that they
use (or abuse) are, and can be.
The question is: are all the objectionable decisions the result of
only the New Labour party policy and whips? Are the Tories or the Lib
Dems also sweeping such legislature through? It's issues such as this
which will heavily affect the way I (and I'm sure many people) vote.
Is there an easily accessible voting record for parties and individual
MPs?

The Tories surely did, when it was their turn for the 'landslide' a while
back (Thatcher/Major). Libdem haven't been tried yet.

I don't know, but http://www.theyworkforyou.com/ would be worth a look.
