Events in East Anglia
Quite a few things coming up soon, some of which didn't make it into
Mardles magazine:
Saturday March 14: Ceilidh at Diss Corn Hall with Aardvark Ceilidh Band,
raising funds for medecins sans frontieres.
Sunday March 15: Blaxhall Ship Jig Doll competition
Entry is open to all comers but please give us a little notice before the
day. There will be prizes and medals and as much free beer as the
competing dancers can drink. Musicians of varying competency will be
present but you may bring your own accompaniment.
March 27: Horses Brawl Album Launch, Norwich
April 18: Tune-Up Folk Day at The Raveningham Centre, Beccles
April 19: Blaxhall âChorus Cupâ: From 14.30 onwards
Three to six people to sing a song with a Chorus.
The prize is for the winning groups name to be engraved into the pewter
quart pot.
