Singer-songwriter David Llewllyn, of Welsh birth and Nashville,
Tennessee residence, is the grand prize winner of the John Lennon
Songwriting Contest's Folk category for his coal miner's lament on the
sacrifice of his child to the life of the mine, "Take Us Down,"
