"The Voice of Country Music" is back in the swing things and
announcing his new collector's box set "40 Years of the Voice" in
partnership with a new storm relief project "Voice for Relief".
NASHVILLE, TN -- (August 25, 2008) - Vern Gosdin is preparing for the
release of a brand new box set (VGM Records), 40 Years of the
Voice, distribution will begin November 2008. This 4 disc compilation
of 101 songs will feature 14 songs recorded 35 years ago, not
available to his fans until now, 11 new releases, along with the best
of The Voice, and a 16 page picture booklet. This lifetime member
of NSAI is mostly known for his hit songs Chiseled in Stone, Setem
Up Joe, Today My World Slipped Away & I Can Tell by the Way You
Dance. He is Back in the Swing of Things with more country music
for his country fans. It has been additionally confirmed that a new
storm relief project Voice for Relief is in the works. The plan for
the new project is to assist families and communities devastated by
recent tragic storms.
