showcase features only artists that are affiliated with or have appeared on
a past M-T-M Radio Sampler CD's... Invitations Will be sent to Record
Labels, Management Companies, Producers, Publishers and other Music Row
Industry folk... Special Guest Emcees John Foster, Pete Schlegel(GAC Hotp
Pick Artist) & Gilles Godard (CEO Ole' Music Nashville Office).. Special
guest appearances by RCA Legend Razzy Bailey(www.razzybailey.com) and Hit
singer/songwriter Billy Yates(www.billyyates.com) .... We are just starting
the Artist selection phase for the showcase, As you know, in the past years
the industry turn was really great.. Past Showcases have been mentioned In
Country Music Weekly(the worlds largest country music magazine), Country
Music News (Canada's largest country music magazine) and we have had in
attendance folks from numerous management and labels, and publishing
affiliates. The feedback I got was it was the best multi-artist showcase
that several industry people had ever been to.. This year I am hoping for
the same thing..

The artist selection for the showcase will be made from a list of qualified
artists.. The selection for performers will be based on recommendations from
a couple friends of mine from the industry.. I will sit down with them and I
will present them with bios, websites and of course I will play them a
couple tracks..( basically we will be looking for artists that will be of
major industry interest ) This selection will be held in early February..
8-10 artists will be selected to be in the showcase.. Upon selection for
the showcase I will notify you either way.. If you are selected the cost for
the showcase is $175.00 US... This is to help cover advertising costs (color
postcard invitations, color posters, emails, etc) and rental of the night
club, stage banners etc.. The fee is to be paid upon selection to be in the
showcase, or your slot will be given to another artist.

*The showcase will consist of each artist performing 2 original songs
acoustic.
**Absolutely no tracks or karaoke songs, this is a live showcase...

Options for the showcase..

*you may choose to perform an acoustic on your own (for those of you that
can play and sing I Highly recommend) or have an accompaniment, If you are
an artist and need a great guitarist and harmony accompaniment I highly
recommend John Foster (www.tinridgeband.com). He is available and is willing
for a small fee to sit down with you before the showcase and go over a
couple things with you.. John has a phenomenal background within the
industry..

Rehearsal at Douglas Corner will be limited if any at all, there is a
warm-up area.. last year we had no rehearsals, but everyone did awesome..

Anyway, if you are interested in possibly being in the showcase I need to
know ASAP so I can get your stuff ready for review..

Country Radio Sales Day at CRS-39 Set For March 7th, 2008

(Nashville, TN - January 30th, 2008) CRB, Inc.® has designated Friday, March
7, Radio Sales Day at CRS-39. Participants will be able to learn about
important topics that affect the Country format such as PPM and how to
increase sales. Any General Sales Manager, Local Sales Manager or Account
Executive that is not making budget and wants to succeed in a difficult year
will attend the Radio Sales Day and leave with ideas that will help them
succeed.

Registrants will be able to attend a full day of CRS activities as well as
Friday night's annual New Faces of Country Music ShowTM. Friday's schedule
will focus on radio sales topics. The four panels include: PPM: Our New
World of Selling, Ten Great Sales Ideas, Overcoming Challenges, Radio in the
Digital Age and I Wish I Said That - Words that get Results.

PPM is designed to improve measurement of audiences for radio, television
and cable; however the PPM environment is creating new challenges. PPM, Our
New World of Selling will have panelists who currently have PPM in their
market and will educate attendees on how to sell in the PPM world. Buyers
are faced with challenges; are consumers really listening to twice as many
radio stations as previously thought?; is it really possible to go from top
five to bottom five and vice versa? Some stations are seeing 10 times the
number of listeners that they had with the diary. Every seller or manager
who has PPM or is getting PPM in the next 18 months should attend as they
will be provided with tools on how to prepare to sell in the PPM world.

Every sales person can use great sales ideas that they can apply in their
market. By attending Ten Sales Ideas that even a PD would Love, attendees
will be provided with ideas that will make them money in their market. Ideas
will be shared on how to sell and make money on new CD launches. Are you in
an NFL city or close by: there is an idea for a concert series - your PD
will love the ideas, as the branding is good for your station. Included is a
Hannah Montana Promotion that was well executed for a west coast Country
station. Take these ideas back to your market!

Overcoming Challenges in a Difficult Environment will provide sellers with
ideas on how to motivate their sales staffs. When your seller comes to you
and indicates the market is down, how do you motivate them to make more
calls and sell the power of the Country format. How does Country Radio - the
most powerful format - play in your difficult environment? How do you
attract new clients in a difficult environment? Are you doing everything you
can to retain your radio stations best clients? With the television writers
strike - does this create an opportunity for Country Radio? This panel will
educate and provide tools for all sales mangers and account executives.

There will be a 48 percent increase in local online ad spending in 2008 to
$12.6 billion and this will surpass radio spending in 2008. How do you
capture part of this revenue? With 77% of American adults using the internet
and the average adult spending more than nine hours per week on line Radio
in the Digital Age will educate radio sellers on how to capitalize on radio
and digital sales. This panel will be lead by Sheila Kirby who is Senior
Vice President of Interep Innovations, where she drives group sales and
revenue development. A leader in the industry, Sheila will share ideas on
how to capture digital dollars and how your station can achieve your digital
budget. This is a must attend session!

Have you ever had a client on your radio station and they did not get the
results they were looking for? How can you improve the copy for your client?
Wish I Had Said That: Words That Get Results will provide attendees with
useful information on creating effective radio ads. Careful research will
show that if you work for the client the rest takes care of itself and the
money will continue to come in! Tim Miles is a Partner in the Wizard of Ads.
Tim has created ads that have run in 80+ US markets, Canada, the UK, and
Australia. His web copy has been viewed by hundreds of thousands. In
addition to American Small Business, his thoughts have been published by
Radio Ink, Direct Magazine, GrokDotCom, and Radio and Production, among
others. In his five years at Boston-based MMB, Patrick Lindsay has done
award-winning work on virtually every account at the agency, including
Subway, Jiffy Lube, LL Bean, Harvard Business School, Atari Video Game and
ESPN. He recently won the $100,000 Grand Prize at the Radio Mercury Awards
in New York City for his Subway Radio Spot, "Badonkadonk". He is a graduate
of the Creative Circus in Atlanta and the University of the South in

Charlie Daniels and National Bankers Trust Make a Stand for Truckers

(MEMPHIS, January 29, 2008) - Country music legend Charlie Daniels is
partnering with National Bankers Trust to promote fair financial practices
in the trucking industry. The sponsorship coincides with the release of
Charlie's latest CD Deuces and will feature Charlie Daniels as a
spokesperson and advocate for ethical, reasonable and sound financial
services for truck drivers and owners.

"Truckers deserve the chance to build the American dream from the ground up,
just like everybody else. It's high time for truckers to take a stand and
demand a fair deal from factoring companies that lock you in and take you
down, and have their money actually work for them instead of just the
factoring companies," said Charlie Daniels.

"We're thrilled to be joining Charlie Daniels in support of responsible and
fair financing for the trucking industry," said Dudley Boyd, CEO, National
Bankers Trust. "Like any other business, small trucking companies must have
access to financial services that maximize their cash flow today and give
them tools to accumulate profit for growth and ultimately
self-capitalization."

Charlie will be promoting fair financial practices in the trucking industry
through a number of different advertising and public relations initiatives
including radio ads. Charlie has a long history of supporting the trucking
industry and is the official voice of Sirius Radio's Road Dog channel 147, a

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and the #1 Band in Country Music History
Alabama Make Critics' Smile

(Nashville, TN) - Last November, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and the
legendary country music group Alabama came together to release the band's
final album.

Alabama, the band with 42 #1 Hits brought their live album entitled,
Alabama: The Last Stand exclusively to Cracker Barrel because it seemed like
a perfect fit. "The folks that eat at Cracker Barrel are the same folks
that have attended our shows and listened to our music since we started,"
says electric guitar and fiddle player, Jeff Cook. "We couldn't think of a
better place to sale our last record!"

Since releasing the album on November 13th, the guys and Cracker Barrel have
received nothing but praise from reviewers.

About.com says of the album, "You can hear some of Alabama's biggest hits
performed live with an often unique delivery that won't be found on other
albums."

Of the album, Country Weekly's Chris Neal writes, ".they're [the band]
goosed along throughout by the enthusiasm of an audience that's audibly
savoring its last chance to hear this - and to express its adoration for the
guys who sang them."

Alabama's bass player Teddy Gentry believes lots of the album's success
comes from the energetic live audiences that allowed them all to play their
hearts out for this final project. "All of those people that you hear
yelling and screaming at the top of their lungs on this album.they're the
ones that got us pumped to the roof so that we could play like no one else!"
said Teddy.

The Nashville Muse's Doak Turner wrote, "There was nothing like seeing
Alabama in concert - you knew you would get your money's worth with those
awesome harmonies, the showmanship and excitement of the crowd. Those
memories and smiles will come right back to you when listening to this great
collection of our favorite Alabama songs on, The Last Stand."

Sticks and Stones Magazine gave 4.5 out of 5 boots and said of the album,
"Like timeless holiday songs you grew up with, you love it each time you
hear it. With a captivating force that leaps off of the CD and grabs your
attention, "The Last Stand" truly makes you feel like you're on the front
row at the concert with Alabama."

The band's front man Randy Owen remembers enjoying recording the album. In
a recent interview with Challenge Magazine Randy said, "I remember seeing
the lights on the crowd when we did 'Feels So Right.'" "We started the song
with a piano and the crowd went wild when we got to the melody."

Three years ago, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store began releasing exclusive
music in their stores. Cracker Barrel has sold more than 3 million records
with big name artists in the country music industry including Alison Krauss
and Union Station, Josh Turner, Charlie Daniels, Merle Haggard and Lonestar.

Country Store locations and online at www.crackerbarrel.com.

DAILEY & VINCENT TOP SIRIUS BLUEGRASS CHART WITH

"BY THE MARK"

#1 Song a Stand-Out Track on Duo's Self-Titled Debut, In Stores on January
29

NASHVILLE, TENN. (January 25, 2008)-New powerhouse duo Dailey & Vincent has
reached the top of this week's Count Down Yonder Weekly Top 17 Songs of
SIRIUS Bluegrass, just days before releasing their self-titled debut on
Rounder Records. "By the Mark," written by Gillian Welch and David Rawlings
and recorded with only Jamie Dailey and Darrin Vincent's vocals, guitar and
mandolin, has been a stand-out track noted by reviewers and programmers, and
a crowd-pleasing number during their live show. The duo chose "By the Mark"
as the first song they sang during their Grand Ole Opry debut on December
29.

"We are so thankful to have found this song, which is deeply meaningful to
us and seems to strike a chord with everyone who hears it," said Jamie
Dailey. "Thanks to everyone who requested 'By the Mark' and supported
Dailey & Vincent."

Dailey & Vincent, a 12-song set featuring a broad spectrum of traditional
bluegrass, country and gospel sounds, unified by the duo's breath-taking
vocal strength and harmony as well as their virtuosic musicianship, will be
released on January 29. Dailey and Vincent celebrated the release with an
industry party at the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum in Nashville
earlier this week, where their five-song performance resulted in two
standing ovations. They were guests of Eddie Stubbs on 650 AM WSM on
Tuesday, January 22, and the coming week will find them doing interviews
with Ned Luberecki of SIRIUS Satellite Radio, Kyle Cantrell of XM's
Bluegrass Junction, and David Higgs' Bluegrass Breakdown on WPLN/Nashville.
They will also perform on February 1 at Nashville's famed Station Inn and on
February 2 during SPBGMA's 34th Annual Bluegrass Awards and 25th National
Convention, held at the Music City Sheraton.

Dailey & Vincent, which was also produced by the duo, has earned early
praise:

" . . . powerful combination of effusive vocals and fiery instrumentals . .
."

Steven Stone, Vintage Guitar

"A brilliant 12-song tour de force, the CD heralds the two talented artists
making high lonesome magic with flawless picking and seamless harmonies on a
thoughtful collection of secular and sacred songs."

Jack Bernhardt, Raleigh News & Observer

"Dailey & Vincent is as close to a perfect bluegrass CD as I think I've ever
heard."

Brance Gillihan, The Bluegrass Blog
