M-T-M Artist Showcase
This years Artist showcase for music industry will be held on Thursday June
5th at the legendary Douglas Corner Cafe'. This showcase features only
artists that are affiliated with or have appeared on a past M-T-M radio
Sampler CD's... Invitations Will be sent to Record labels, management
companies, producers, Publishers and other music row industry folk... It
will be Emceed by John Foster and another current industry pro(TBA).. Legend
guest appearances will be RCA Legend Razzy Bailey and another Country Music
Legend TBA.... We are just starting the Artist selection phase for the
showcase, As you know, in the past years the industry turn was really
great.. Past Showcases have been mentioned In Country Music Weekly(the
worlds largest country music Magazine) and we have had in attendance Folks
from Curb, Creative Artist Agency and numerous management and labels, and
publishing affiliates. The feedback I got was it was the best multi-artist
showcase that several industry people had ever been to.. This year I am
hoping for the same thing..
The artist selection for the showcase will be made from a list of qualified
artists.. The selection for performers will be based on recommendations from
a couple friends of mine from the industry.. I will sit down with them and I
will present them with bios, websites and of course I will play them a
couple tracks..( basically we will be looking for artists that will be of
major industry interest ) This selection will be held in early February..
8-10 artists will be selected to be in the showcase.. Upon selection for
the showcase I will notify you either way.. If you are selected the cost for
the showcase is $175.00 US... This is to help cover advertising costs (color
postcard invitations, color posters, emails, etc) and rental of the night
club, stage banners etc.. The fee is to be paid upon selection to be in the
showcase, or your slot will be given to another artist.
*The showcase will consist of each artist performing 2 songs.
**Absolutely no tracks or karaoke songs, this is a live showcase...
Options for the showcase..
*you may choose to perform an acoustic on your own (for those of you that
can play and sing I Highly recommend) or have someone that can accompany
you, If you an an artist and need a great guitarist and harmony
accompaniment I highly recommend John Foster (www.tinridgeband.com) is
available and is willing for a small fee to sit down with you before the
showcase and go over a couple things with you.. John has a phenomenal
background within the industry..
Rehearsal at Douglas Corner will be limited if any at all.. last year we had
no rehearsals, but everyone did awesome..
Anyway, if you are interested in possibly being in the showcase I need to
know ASAP so I can get your stuff ready for review.. Thanks, smile and have
a great day!

Rhonda Vincent, 7-time IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year Winner, to Release
Seventh Rounder Album 'Good Thing Going' on January 8th
New album features duets with Keith Urban and Russell Moore
".the thrillingly bold singer and mandolinist."
New York Times
Burlington, MA - Rhonda Vincent - the fiery vocalist, multi-instrumentalist
and songwriter dubbed "the new queen of bluegrass" by the Wall Street
Journal - is set to release her new album Good Thing Going on January 8,
2008. In addition to receiving an unprecedented seven consecutive "Female
Vocalist of the Year" awards from the International Bluegrass Music
Association (IBMA), being named IBMA's 2001 "Entertainer of the Year," and
being the co-author of the 2004 IBMA "Song of the Year," Vincent was
nominated for a 2005 Grammy® award for "Best Bluegrass Album" for Ragin'
Live. Good Thing Going follows up her two 2006 Rounder releases, All
American Bluegrass Girl and her first holiday album, Beautiful Star: A
Christmas Collection.
Since her first Rounder release, 2000's Back Home Again, Vincent has met
with increasing acclaim for her dynamic, infectious take on bluegrass. Her
gift for balancing classic bluegrass sounds with subtle contemporary touches
is featured throughout Good Thing Going. Gleaming with hope, resilience, and
gratitude, Vincent presents a set of songs that range from timelessly
straight-ahead bluegrass to effervescent swing and heartfelt ballads.
Joining her on the album are the members of her stellar road band the Rage
on several cuts, and some very special guests including Jesse McReynolds
(Jim & Jesse), Russell Moore (III Tyme Out), Bryan Sutton, Becky Issacs,
Kathy Chiavola and country music impresario James Stroud. The album was
co-produced by Rhonda and her brother Darrin Vincent (of Dailey & Vincent),
at Rhonda's own studio, Adventure Studios in Nashville.
The 12 tracks that make up Good Thing Going include five originals or
co-writes, alongside a range of contemporary and classic cover tracks. Good
Thing Going is her most personal, autobiographical project yet. "I have
never written five songs to include on an album," she remarks. "I have to be
inspired to write a song.but there's been no shortage of inspiration
lately." From the hard-driving bluegrass "Hit Parade of Love" (an old Jimmy
Martin tune and longtime concert favorite) to tender balladry "I Give My
Love to You" (a touching original ballad, performed as a duet with Russell
Moore) to the rollicking, playful autobiographical title track and the
concert favorite, "Bluegrass Saturday Night" Rhonda proves once again she is
the queen of bluegrass.
Vincent will continue her ongoing U.S. tour in 2008 in support of Good Thing
Going starting on January 18th. For a complete schedule go to
www.rhondavincent.com or www.rounder.com.

so much MOORE media Celebrates 20th Year In 2008
"I never take a project that I don't believe in, and it's important to me to
know that I can make a difference in an artist's career. When my artists are
successful, so am I."- Martha E. Moore
Nashville, TN - When Martha Moore opened the offices of so much MOORE media
in 1988, she threw the doors of her "boutique" firm wide open by announcing
her first client, Johnny Cash. Since its inception, the company has
specialized in media relations for Independent artists, taking innovative
avenues and harnessing new technologies to help her clients reach their
goals. Her natural charm, combined with her passion for music has helped
Martha grow an ever-expanding list of clients. Moore has worked with a
wide range of acts, from "new" artists like Todd Fritsch, Jeff Griffith,
Lantana and Lisa O'Kane to established artists like Cash, Hank Cochran,
David Frizzell, Jerry Reed, Sylvia, the Amazing Rhythm Aces and the late Big
Al Downing. She has nurtured the careers of singer/songwriters Karen
Taylor-Good, Jeffrey Halford, Walter Hyatt and Victor Mecyssne Anthony, and
is known for taking her clients from local and regional acclaim to national
and international prominence. However, if you asked Martha to name a
'favorite,' she is likely to pick legendary country singer/songwriter Hank
Cochran; he's been with Moore for an astonishing 12-year run. "Hank is just
a jewel," she says.
Known as "Skates" to her pals up and down Music Row (and around the globe);
Moore is fun-loving and "high-amped." No one can question her work ethic,
and her talents are many - and diverse. She is a member of the ACM, AMA,
CMA, NARAS, NATD, Roots Music Association and SOURCE, and was named to
Cambridge's Who's Who of Executives for 2007-2008. Martha has
guest-lectured at Belmont University on three different occasions, speaking
on the topics of Public Relations, image and international media, and her
firm has handled media for two books: 30 Years On the Road With Gene Autry
(Johnny Bond) and No Name of the Bullet (the biography of Audie Murphy,
written by Don Graham). In 2001 Moore "jumped the fence" and put on her
"media cap" to write a monthly column entitled "roots, boots & 'billy" for
the Irish magazine Country Music Plus.
Martha has handled publicity for Country and Americana artists from 12
states, as well as entertainers from Australia, Ireland, Norway and
Scotland. She's joined many of her clients on their overseas tours, and
says with her trademark smile, "I've been in Germany and Holland in
zero-degree weather, in England during the floods, Italy and Spain when it
felt like 100 degrees and France during all seasons - and I've loved every
minute of it."
Upcoming projects for so much MOORE media include: Randy Thompson, Zane
Lewis, Ansel Brown and Sammy Sadler. She is, she says, "Looking forward to
the musical adventures the future will bring." If the past 20 years serve
as an indicator of things to come, the adventures should be plentiful and
Moore's business should continue to flourish.

JEFF GRIFFITH BRINGS HIS TRADITIONAL BRAND OF COUNTRY TO INTERNATIONAL
AUDIENCES WITH HIS FIRST RADIO RELEASE, "I'm Your Radio," JANUARY 1
"He's got one of those ultra-warm country baritones that have always made
this format sound so special. The lyric is extremely well crafted. I
particularly liked the lines asking the familiar, Are you loving? Are you
laughing? Are you leaving?" - Robert K. Oermann, Music Row Magazine
Nashville, TN (December 29, 2007) -Jeff Griffith brings his traditional
brand of country to International audiences as he releases his first single,
"I'm Your Radio," January 1.
The single continues to rise on the U.S. charts. The native Texan's rich
baritone vocals and genuine country sound have already generated two
previous hits: "Drinkin' Thing" and the title track from his debut CD, IF IT
AIN'T ONE THING IT'S ANOTHER (Arrowhead Records). Producer and country
legend Joe Stampley, calls Griffith "the best natural country singer I've
ever heard."
Jeff is a natural talent, and fans of "true country" (Lefty Frizzell, Merle
Haggard, George Jones) have jumped on his bandwagon. The media is beating
its drums as well, and a recent review on About.com says: "Now THIS is a
country singer with a country song. I love it! You don't really find songs
like this in heavy rotation and that's a real shame. Give this one a shot
and you'll be glad you did."
Jeff is touring throughout Texas promoting his new CD, and recently he's
shared the stage with Sammy Kershaw, Joe Stampley and Heartland. Someday
soon, Griffith hopes to bring his seven-piece "dance-friendly" band across
the pond for a honky tonkin' good time.
