Beginners' square dance courses will be starting in September or
October in many towns. If you are interested, please contact your
local square dance club operating at Mainstream level to ask where the
nearest course will be. It's important to start at the beginning and
attend on a regular basis but well worthwhile in the end as you can
take part in dances all over the world once you've done the Mainstream
