Name this tune...
In the unlikely event that any actual people (as opposed to spammers)
are still using this group, I thought I'd give this a try, because
Google certainly isn't proving much use with a query this vague.

There's a song from (I guess) the early-to-mid 1990s, which has a sample
of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony in its chorus and I think lyrically
consists of a bloke talking his way through some kind of list of famous
dead people.

Can anyone identify it? I'll be rather impressed if you can from that
unhelpful description.

Thanks,

Paul

Sounds to me like "Endless Art" by A House, an Irish band, released in
1992. All the dead people are male, but they also recorded "More Endless
Art", with a roll call of female dead people.

I _could_ send you an MP3 if you can't get it anywhere else and you let
me know an email address ...
