Much to my shame I had never heard of Sissel until very recently -
driving home some 200 miles on an exceedingly wild windy and stormy
Scottish night - I happened upon this pure bell like voice on the car
radio, a fairly posh thing, the female performer delivered with superb
range and dynamics - and I couldn't find out who she was - after making
myself a nuisance with the BBC I learned it was a Norwegian Lady called
Sissel - ????.

Next project, source as many of her albums as possible - and enjoy.

Occasionally I experience something which to me is monumental in
impact, this was such a moment - no one knows the hours and hours of
dedication required to achieve such a level of attainment but for all
of us lesser mortals we have the privilege of enjoying the performance
--  this lady is quite unique.

What a gift, what a voice, how superb!

I absolutely love it.
