Lowe, who left "The West Wing" in 2003, will reprise his role as Sam
Seaborn in the final two episodes of Aaron Sorkin's Emmy-winning
series.

Also reprising their roles with appearances in one or more of the
drama's final five episodes are Mary-Louise Parker, Anna Deavere
Smith, Emily Procter, Marlee Matlin, Gary Cole, Tim Matheson, Timothy
Busfield and Annabeth Gish.

Happy endings all round anyone? Josh back with Amy? CJ with Danny? Sam
for VP?

Or maybe Ainsley and Amy can get it together.... mmmmm! ;-)

HOW, HOW, HOW can you say happy endings all round and then say "Josh
back with Amy?"!!!! Surely Josh with Donna is the only possible happy
ending there? It would be a disaster if Josh got back with Amy!

We've spent 7 seasons waiting for Josh to get it on with Donna. He wouldn't
be happy in a relationship with anyone else, and she does keep him
organised.
They get on like a house on fire (flames, panic, people running away
screaming).

Re: Season 7 - Final Episodes Cast Spoiler
Um. As the episodes in question haven't yet aired in the US, I don't think
the comments posted were soilers - more a case of anticipating possible
stories!

That said, others took the trouble to introduce spoiler space, so James, you
might have remembered to do so your self...

Actually, watching the promo currently on air on NBC, you can see josh
and donna kissing.

Re: Season 7 - Final Episodes Cast Spoiler
To defend myself, this was the first time I had posted and I am not
fully aware of the protocol of writing messages. I have only recently
been introduced to the Westwing having only just watched the first 6
series of the Westwing after purchasing the Bartlett Years Box set for
christmas, (I was leant the two series before christmas). I have been
reading through some of the old messages and I find some of the
discussions really intresting and some of the reviews especially so. I
was really trying to stimulate a discussion about Josh and Donna's
potential relationship. Anyone who is reading this discussion group
surely know that the chemistry between the two of them is one of the
most facinating, frustranting and enjoyable aspects to the show. The
concept of Josh with someone else in the last show ever would be a
cruel end to the shows longest running story line.

Can I clarify when a spoiler space should be used, and in regard to
what topics? Obviously if you are going to discuss a show in detail
that you have watched and others might not, then a spoiler is required.
How old an episode can you freely discuss, especially now that series 6
has just finished on TV (more 4)? What about discussion about future
topics... I thought that was the entire reason behind discussion
groups. I don't see where the line should be drawn, unless everyone
would like a spoiler space at the start of every message?

Appologies to Eclectic Electric and anyone else who thinks that I gave
any spoiling information to unintentionally (although I thought the
tone of the reply was a little unnecessary).

James.

I think normal practice is to include spoiler space AND a warning in the
header for anything which gives a clue to episodes not yet screened on UK
mainland terrestrial. That means adding spoiler even for things like cast
list, and stuff that's been on More4 or E4, but not yet on C4.

Mind you - I think one series (5?) never made it onto C4 at all, so that
could be tricky...?

I agree the rebuke you got was rather harsh (especially in the context that,
unlike many, this newsgroup is generally courteous and helpful). However,
all you need do is ensure the spoiler space is long enough - so anyone
wanting to read it has deliberately to page down. I don't think anyone
would be upset if you include space which might not really be essential.

The good thing is TWW now has another fan....
