Did I spot 'Hayley' moonlighting in studio 60? At the beginning of the
episode where they were trying to find a college with the word Bible in its
name?

a) she's already married and b) her dad is rather funny.

You really don't need to read the tabloids to find all this stuff out.
I've seen most of it reported either here or in umra. It's not as though
you actually need to listen to TA to read umra. I gave up listening last
year, when the personality transplant fairies had a go at Ruth. I've yet
to be conviced it's worth starting again.

posts. Believing I was already a bit sad listening to TA, I immediately
unsubscribed....

LOL. And I thought it was David who was out of character....! I've "sort
of" kept in touch - until recently. The Rory thing finally did for me, so I
only listen to (or, to be more precise, overhear) TA if I'm still half awake
when BH finishes.

It isn't... :-((

How telling (and rather poignant) that TA gets 3 airings per episode (and is
it also on "listen again"?), while Sorkin averages rather less than one.

PS - Just noticed that my spell-checker, not knowing Sorkin, suggests
"corking"... Apt indeed...!!!!

Lucy Davies, who plays Lucy in Studio 60, used to be Hayley Jordan in The
Archers - a long running fly on the wall radio documentary. As can be
seen by following the wikipedia link that Martin quoted somewhere up
thread.

We were bemoaning the lack of verisimilitude in the recent goings on in
the village of Ambridge. If it wasn't real life, people wouldn't believe
anyone could write such rubbish.

I have the whole season on my HD :-) But I'm enjoying watching them again

Must get round to pre-ordering them from Amazon.com

Did I spot 'Hayley' moonlighting in studio 60? At the beginning of the
episode where they were trying to find a college with the word Bible in its
name?

You did. She becomes quite a regular. But she doesn't tell anyone that
a) she's already married and b) her dad is rather funny.

Yes - I suppose, strictly, she's "ex-Hayley". And, of course, "ex-Dawn"
(The Office)

She will always be Hayley. Not like the current interloper.

LOL...!!

You inspired me to look her up in Wikiwotsit... had no idea about her kidney
problems, marrying in St Pauls cos of daddy's honour etc etc. I must start
reading the tabloids... :-((

For anyone interested, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucy_Davis

You really don't need to read the tabloids to find all this stuff out.
I've seen most of it reported either here or in umra. It's not as though
you actually need to listen to TA to read umra. I gave up listening last
year, when the personality transplant fairies had a go at Ruth. I've yet
to be conviced it's worth starting again.

That's certainly a relief....!

I tried umra once, some years back, and couldn't believe the number of

> I've yet

It isn't... :-((

How telling (and rather poignant) that TA gets 3 airings per episode (and is
it also on "listen again"?), while Sorkin averages rather less than one.

PS - Just noticed that my spell-checker, not knowing Sorkin, suggests
"corking"... Apt indeed...!!!!

Even though I usually manage to sleep through BH, I am always sufficiently
awake to turn of TA when the music starts.
