This Is Your Life
I noticed in the TV listings that there was a one-off This Is Your
Life special on ITV last night. Earlier in the day, I saw a trailer
for the programme in which we saw the subject - Simon Cowell - being
surprised with the red book by Sir Trevor McDonald. I always thought
the TIYL subjects were kept secret until broadcast, but having seen
who the subject was, I decided not to watch. Nothing particular
against Simon Cowell, just had other things to do. If I'd not known
who it was going to be, I might have recorded it.
But, correct me if I'm wrong, but was Simon Cowell not the subject of
This Is Your Life during its last run on BBC with Michael Aspel about
four or five years ago?
So why was he the subject of a "one-off special" again?
Can I ask anyone who might have watched the programme, if they stayed
through to the very end, was the programme made by Simon Cowell's
production company?
