I'm not sure if it's technically dead, but chemical tests indicate
that it is held in a non-acidic section of the internet. This is
indicated by the well preserved nature of even the oldest posts in
google groups ;-)
Seriously though, we don't even seem to get the generic archeology
posts here any more. Shame really :-(

For some reason no-one posted about the recent series. I might have but the
investigation that was just around the corner from here managed to locate a
couple of fields with absolutely nothing below soil-top level.
I want to see what they'd find above Ribchester. When they went there (series
1?) before they kept to the village down by the river but a Roman fort never
made much sense if they ignored the nearby heights that give a 360 degree view
and overwhelming control over the river fort.

I was going to ask if anyone else caught a glimpse of Jenni Butterworth the

To bastardise my sig, ten seconds of Jenni Butterworth will do more good in
a half hour slot than a weekly show of Alice Roberts in a month.

I'm not sure if it's technically dead, but chemical tests indicate
that it is held in a non-acidic section of the internet. This is
indicated by the well preserved nature of even the oldest posts in

Seriously though, we don't even seem to get the generic archeology
