How do you get Sky+ live pause to work properly?
Every time I use it, it stops recording at the end of the programme
that was on when you first paused it, it doesn't record the following
programme at all. Is there a setting that has some obscure label that
will make it work properly? There's nothing obvious under setup.

ISTR thats what its meant to do? eg its a feature not a fault :-)
You could set it on instant rewind for the max time and not need to use
pause...maybe?

You can't, it works at an EPG 'event' level.
What I think you can do though, is if you initiate live pause, and wish to
include the following programme, is to set the following programme to record.
When the paused programme ends, then start the playback of the following prog.
If you get my drift !

I think I do, but once you pause something you can't get to the EPG to
record anything else.

Ah yes, I remember now, you're right. (I sold my Sky+ box two years ago)

You can if you turn the Live Pause into a Recording. You do that by pressing
R and it will save everything in the pause buffer as part of the recording.
You can then enter the EPG and add any further progams you want to record.

That sounds like a plan, cheers.

You don't need to go to the full EPG - just use the search and scan banner.
