chepest Sky option - help please?
Haven't had sky for years - I have a freeview box with large hard drive.
However, I'd like to get Discovery channels, UKTV etc. Not interested in he
sports, movies or kids channels.
Much against my better judgement, I'm looking at returning to Sky but I need
to be able to record programs (I work shifts) and also do NOT want their
broadband or phone services.
Just what is my cheapest option, does anyone know? (I've looked at the site
but it always seems to involve signing up for phone or something)
Many thanks

I looked into this as well (see my post) and came up with the option of Sky
+ which you can get on its own. I am trying to get a deal but there does not
seem to be any on the go or people are keeping quiet about them.

£17 a month subscription to "variety" and "knowledge" plus £130 one off
payment for hardware and set up costs for Sky+.
The information is easy to find on the Sky website.

But it omits special offers -which are often only available through specific
retailers!
For example Sky+ is available for £59 ((£29 + installation) through Currys
(only) up to the end of today (24th) see
