Scottish actor James McAvoy is to take the role of Scotty in a new 'Star
Trek' film, according to the Scottish Sunday Mirror.

The 28-year-old Glaswegian has been acclaimed for his role in Kevin
MacDonald's 'The Last King of Scotland'.

He also had roles in 'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and
the Wardrobe' and 'Inside I'm Dancing'.
