I was watching an old Tales of the Unexpected episode the other day on Sky and
it got me thinking of this old drama/sci-fi episode I watched ages ago.

The only bit of it that I could remember was of this glowing, semi-transparent
alien laying on a bed. I did a search on Google and the only thing of
relevance I could find was this:

They had remembered a little more than me but it's right on the money. One
thing I almost positively remember is one of the party that goes upstairs to
see the creature looks at it with horror and says something like "Send it
back!". Scared me as a kid and I'd love to watch it again.

Anyone have a clue as to what it might have been?

Is your reply somehow related to what I posted? I wasn't asking for a new
redirector, in fact if you look up a bit you will find no evidence of this at
all!
