I'm going to have to go back and watch more of the older episodes?

I last remember really watching back in the 80s - Tom Baker? (Scarf and
Pylon). He was my favourite of those doctors and I didn't get on so well
with some of the later ones. That said, David Tennant does it incredibly
well. I've enjoyed both the latest doctors.

One of my favourite little parts was in a Dalek episode where the program
self references. The Doctor leaves a house just before Doctor Who comes
on the TV. You hear the announcement as he's leaving. May have been a
later doctor (my memory is sketchy), also the assistant was the young
lady tomboy character, something I remember quite common in the 80s.
