If memory serves me correctly, it's from the 325 CE First Council of 
Nicaea.  Many of the "truths" the modern day Paulists hold about their 
religion were legislated.  Before then, there were factions that said 
Jesus was a man, that he was divine but not God himself, etc.  To put 
forward a united vision, major aspects were voted upon, including the 
Trunity.
