The RESET button has been revealed!
looks like the reset button has been revealed

Donna has something on her back again!

so last weeks episode wasnt just the re-introduction of rose saving Donna

it was the introduction of the big reset!

maybe the reason why last weeks beetle had so much hard work was because she
had already got one on from before

and the whole series is one big load of nonsense!

No I don't think so. I think the girl said she "had" something on her
back, as in she detected she had had it there, not that she still did.
Nice try.

No, this was ruled out by the servant's comment "There was something
on your back", past tense. The reset is plainly going to involve
Martha's key - which raises the prospect that maybe Martha is the
sacrifice rather than Donna.

What are the chances that key WON'T be used?
Like, show it, mention it, buils curiousity about it, warn how it must NEVER
be used... might be refreshing if Martha just said "Yeah, sounds sensible
actually, I'll put it in the wall safe instead."

How could the story be concluded with out a reset of some sort? Is everyone
and everything supposed to stay in the shit for the rest of time?

Every one seem to be complaining about a looming reset, but I cant quite see
how you go about avoiding it. Going on about a reset of some sort is kinda
stating the bleeding obvious.

I agree - just as in last series - they can't leave the Earth in such
a mess.

I don't believe that we are in a 'beetle reality'. I do believe that
the Doctor will use the beetle somehow to go back to the Time War and
change something so none of this ever happens.

So He never gets shot, Rose never comes back, etc, etc.

sense.

When I wrote that, it was only likely speculation that she would be -
it could still have been wrong, even though one of her scenes gave a
great big hint that she would be joining Torchwood.

Then why on this good earth do you watch it then? I think Eastenders and
Neighbours are a load of nonsense.....and good old common sense tells me not
to watch them. I can't think of anything more bizarre than watching
something you dislike...just to complain to anyone bored enough to listen to
you on the internet.

Lost and Doctor Who both seem to attract thousands of people, who claim to
dislike both shows, who eagerly tune in each week and then go on with
themselves on forums about how silly the plots are.

As is always my advise to such people, learn to use your remote control. It
really isn't rocket science.

What he seems to mean is if, as he suspects, the reset button turns
out to be Donna having another beetle (which it won't), then that will
mean the entire season took place in an alternate reality constructed
around her, and it will all cease to have happened when the beetle's
removed - and so, nothing this year will have featured the "real"
Doctor's adventures, only adventures that might have happened in an
alternate reality where Donna met the Doctor a second time. For some
reason, people seem to think this is less satisfactory than the show
taking place in its usual alternate reality.

Having said all that, there's nothing wrong with enjoying a show and
recognising how silly it is - in fact the silliness a large part of
the appeal. I never fail to get exasperated by people who insist on
treating Doctor Who as something deadly serious and high-minded, or
who insist on labelling it "serious sci-fi" in the apparent conviction
that if it's not serious, deeply intellectual or sci-fi, then it's
somehow demeaning for them to watch it.

Well said Phil, I completely agree, Dr Who is 'Family Entertainment'
and should be remembered as such. The stories have been good this
season and I, for one, will not be unhappy with a reset button. take
it for what it is - good solid great fun family entertainment which is
unmissable!

Lol, so long as the Doctor doesn't come out of a shower and find Rose
is still there and that it had all been a dream - just like in Dallas!

Also agree and as long as a reset does not erase _my_ memories of the
season's shows I will, also, be fine with that.
