mp3 said near the start. He pronounced it differently later on, when
he introduced her.

I remember years ago I saw a documentary about Star Trek that began
with a man saying "Hi. I'm Walter Keenig", which surprised me, but I
assume he'd know how to pronounce his own name. :-)

In the USA, it comes out something like "kae-nig" for some reason.  The
exception was on Moonbase Alpha, whose commander was know by all (even
the American actors) as "John Koh-nig".

In the USA, it comes out something like "kae-nig" for some reason.  The
exception was on Moonbase Alpha, whose commander was know by all (even
the American actors) as "John Koh-nig".
