Thanks Moyra. I thought it would be, but that's what the man on the
mp3 said near the start. He pronounced it differently later on, when
he introduced her.
I remember years ago I saw a documentary about Star Trek that began
with a man saying "Hi. I'm Walter Keenig", which surprised me, but I
assume he'd know how to pronounce his own name. :-)

In the USA, it comes out something like "kae-nig" for some reason. The
exception was on Moonbase Alpha, whose commander was know by all (even
the American actors) as "John Koh-nig".

Why am I reminded of an ISN reporter and "I've a nova" ;-)

In the USA, it comes out something like "kae-nig" for some reason. The
exception was on Moonbase Alpha, whose commander was know by all (even
the American actors) as "John Koh-nig".
