[NotsoSad Babbling Spotting]
I was doing an image search for John August, the editor of
"Consultations in Feline Internal Medicine" and after several pages of
speedway photos I happened upon an image entitled simply "john".
The amazing thing is that amongst a myriad of speedway riders, named
John, who happened to be photographed during a race that happened in
August, I recognized this particular fellow!
Following the link my suspicions were confirmed, it is indeed a photo
of our very own John Ward!

....Not that I have ever been involved in feline internal medicine (apart
from worming the cats over the years) or attended speedway races.

Ah, from my mirror site. The primary version is within my own domain,
at: www.horsted.john-ward.org.uk/ where you will no doubt notice a much
scaled-down version of that image in the top-of-page banner.
I'd be interested to know how the big image came to be associated
somehow with a type of event I never attend. Perhaps it's like the
first episode of "New Who", where the Doctor kept cropping up in photos
taken throughout the past century or more(!)
