off-topic: Click news 24 channel, old micros
Sorry to be off-topic, but thought some of you with access to News 24
(BBC) might enjoy this.

I'm don't know when but there's a program (20 mins?) called Click whichh
goes through the history of computer games.

Amongst others Archer Maclean and David Braben are interviewed and there's
footage of Elite, Defender, Doom etc. NO C64 or Amiga, but plenty of
Spectrum I think.

It looked pretty cool, apparently its being shown again sometime this
morning.

Cheers.......

                  All the best,
Angus Manwaring. (for e-mail remove ANTISPEM)

I need your memories for the Amiga Games Database: A collection of Amiga
Game reviews by Amiga players http://www.angusm.demon.co.uk/AGDB/AGDB.html

Several of mine went on Elite (I got to Deadly on several platforms)

Perhaps the biggest time-sink i've ever had has been Half-Life - or to
be specific, the modifications / new games built around the engine.

My current favourite is Natural Selection, but Sourceforts is beginning
to grow on me :-} (I was never a massive CounterStrike fan, but TFC was
also great)

There's some noise being made over on CSS about is being most likely the
23rd of April - though the *exact* date still remains a mystery.
