Was he any good? I used to like him years ago when he concentrated on hard 
hitting topical political issues, however every time I had the misfortune to 
tune into his late night show on TalkSport he always appeared to be rambling 
on about the size of women's tits, clairvoyants and aliens and other such 
trivia, or perhaps I was just unlucky and happened to tune in at the wrong 
time.

I agree, the whole emphasis of radio nowadays appears to be about endless 
sport, Victoria discussing the virtues of various of babies nappies, or 
**unty firing up the listeners into forming lynch mobs to hunt down Glitter 
and do for him in the same way as the Wickerman.. never mind the fact that 
many of us may well freeze to death this winter or at worse could all be 
incinerated in our beds:0)

Oh a man after my own heart..  Radio 5 is soooo boringly worthy it makes you 
want to scream.  Jon Gaunt, on the other hand, pretends to be controversial 
and a man of the people yet is so PC it makes me wonder exactly which 
listeners buy the books he endlessly promotes.  Mike Mendoza turned into a 
shallow twat too, when he joined TalkSport.  Has he left now?

His show became a cliched plaigarism of a US radio show which was a great 
success, always wittering on about stagates, aliens, esp etc etc.
