Can't say that I've ever noticed the soggy middle problem. But that
may be because I *do* like my pizza cooked until it's charcoal. :)
I was surprised any of the Dargons backed the idea. It's a low-value
item, which means a huge number of them would have to be sold before
any profit was seen. The pitch looked very awkward and would have
been enough to put me off.

As they said, it was a gamble. Watch Peter Jones just after he said "it
could be the cats' eyes of the pizza" - the only thing missing was a
superimposed lightbulb above his head and a loud "ding!" :)

I thought it was because he had already done everything - patent,
production, packaging - he doesn't have to do another thing. Just sit
and watch the pennies roll in. Seems fair to me!

I was busy shouting at the telly that this was the case before the light
bulb moment - I can't understand how these rich experts are rich and I
