http://z13.invisionfree.com/In_The_Balcony/index.php?showtopic=397&st=480entry3154333
Okay, here's the solution to this puzzle.
Frankie Howerd was the star of Up Pompei.
Adrienne Posta co starred in the film version as Scrubba (Hence the
celluloid wil help you clean up clue)
Adrienne Posta was once married to singer Graham Bonnet
Graham Bonnet was, for a time, the lead singer in rock group, Rainbow.
Geoffrey, Bungle, Zippy and George were all in the children's show
Rainbow.
Easy when you know!:-)

Cheers

LOL, it does read a bit like that doesn't it? It just needed a few
more lines added on.
Geoffrey is holding an auctioneer's hammer.
You sell things at an auction, sometimes for a lot of money.
That's right, you've won a hammer! Bring it in Dusty!
I saw Ted Rogers live at Butlins in 1981 doing a late night cabaret.
He was brilliant.

I worked for his agent between 1969 and 1971. He was the king of the topical
gags - just terrific one-liners, delivered at a rate of knots. His writer
was Wally Malston, now long dead.

Yeah, I was amazed seeing him live. I just had him pegged as Mr Cheesy
3-2-1 Host but he was really good, very topical, even doing stuff
about that days news and later in the show had people shouting our
random subjects and came back quick as flash with a gag for every one
of them.
