One of my wife's friends is actually getting married today because of
the date. Although not at 08:08 I think.
Apparently it's very common on these sort of dates. Although as my
wife's birthday is 6th June and as she's religious she wasn't too
happy about the date of her birthday two years ago.

My youngest sister delayed her wedding by a whole year in order to get
married last year on 7th July - took it a bit to extremes though - got
his&hers number plates of <letter>777 WED.

I got to give her away - well, she was getting on a bit & I couldn't get
anything for her <ba-doom-tish>.

On a tangent of corny joke-type things - that thing a-la Alan Partridge
of finger on nose with one hand and pointing with the other - where's
that from then?
