Ooh Miss, Miss. (Puts hands up) I know this one.

It's Robert Stack as Elliott Ness in The Untouchables. One of the
shows I was too young to see when I was a kid.

But you're young enough to, now? :)

When I was at primary school I realised that my bedtime seemed to be a
lot earlier than those of my mates. I'd hear them talking about
Elliott Ness and hadn't got a clue what they were on about, yet I'm
sure I didn't go to bed that early. I supoose they just were allowed
to stay up later.

I'm fairly sure that, aged about nine, that I had to go to bed at 9
cos I can clearly remember Monday nights as Opportunity Knocks,
Corornation Street, Alias Smith and Jones on BBC2 and then being
marched up the stairs as the strains of Call My Bluff rang out.

Happy times.

If I'd been watching those, I'd have already fallen asleep...
