SPOILERS FOR NEIGHBOURS, 15-19 DEC'08 (5547-5551)


Matt is released on bail but does a runner, asking Donna to cover his
tracks for a few days. Elle publicises Lucas's fancy new show, even hiring
Tyler's band, only to discover the many photos display the artist's lost
love for Libby. Hurt & humiliated, Donna loyally obeys her father - acting
as if he were home she has to push Ringo away. As the band takes the stage,
Daniel beats up Lucas, Rachel discovers she's lost Angus's ring, and Libby
bitterly realises that Daniel cares more for his anger than for her.

Elle sees straight through Donna's predicament, so tells Rebecca that
the girl needs a mother. Paul warns Daniel that a man can't go where his
brother has already been. As they search for the ring, Rachel deduces that
silly-grinny Bridget has slept with Declan. Donna lashes out, so Rebecca
offers her support in a way the girl can accept, without feeling shamed or
threatened. When Tyler finds the ring, it's damaged. Daniel takes Jarrod's
advice to carry Libby off to her bed, but she throws him out instead.

Nicola stirs in her coma as Miranda & Steve argue about her, then wakes
to recognise only her sister. Daniel hopes to win Libby over by purchasing
one of the few unsold portraits from Lucas's exhibition. Dr.Kennedy checks
for post-traumatic amnesia, while Steve & Bridget believe that Nicola has
conveniently dispensed with past sins. Libby throws the photograph away but
kisses Daniel. Told about her awful accident, Nicola forgives Donna - and
when Callum sneaks Bronte into the hospital, she's scared of the dog.

Steve supports his wife, so Bridget angrily reduces Nicola to tears by
listing her dreadful deeds - until Jarrod sends the girl away. As romance
blossoms, Daniel invites Libby to join him on a quick holiday. Carmella is
thrilled to hear Rosetta has given birth to a son, named after Marco. Libby
frets about abandoning Stephanie with Jay's sentencing coming up, but she's
leaving to spend some time with Lyn. After he & Miranda push Bridget into
apologising to her aunt, Steve spots a secret smile on Nicola's face.

Though Steve's suspicions are confirmed since Nicola plays husband &
wife against each other, Miranda won't face the truth. Stephanie & Libby
are away with their kids, but band rehearsals at no.32 go awry once Tyler
finally returns the damaged ring to Rachel. Steve manages to catch Nicola
out by pretending feelings for her - so she attacks him in great distress
until Miranda & Karl intervene. After advice from Bridget that Tyler could
simply have thrown the ring away, Rachel gives in and kisses him.
