[Friends] Janice!
I'm currently watching episodes from Season 2 on E4.

When I first watched them, I was as annoyed at Janice as the characters
were. It's odd how my opinion of her has changed. She's still annoying,
but now I see her as a wonderful comic highlight of the show.

I'm also astonished at the number of dialogue references to the girl with
the bellybutton ring who works in the copy place. I wonder if the writers
had Ross and Rachel's break-up story outlined even at this early stage.

I'm sure they did.

Personally, I never found Chloe attractive at all - body piercing makes
me cringe.

Ah yes, very good apart from Eddie Minowick.

I always liked Janice, and *so* wanted her to complete her hat-trick.

Well, yes of course. They planned to wreck the pairing at the end of S2,
then decided the story needed more of a build-up; which is why the season
ends without a cliff-hanger, the only one (apart from S10) to do so.

Me too, but *apart*from*that* she was attractive.

But Joey just cannot stand her! He'd want to rip off his arm just so he had
something to throw at her! Mind you, Phoebe wasn't averse to dating Ross
and Monica's cousin Cassie, so maybe she could have been Janice's third.

Chandler had fallen in love with a mystery woman on the internet and invited
her to meet him in Central Perk. It turned out that the mystery woman was
Janice!

As Chandler kissed Janice, the rest of the group looked at each other and
said "Oh! My! God!!!"
