SPOILERS FOR NEIGHBOURS, 07-11 APR'08 (5371-5375)


Carmella's daughter is born by caesarean, but has pneumonia. Harold & Lou
organise a protest against any redevelopment of the street. Frazer chooses
a bad time to change Rosetta's mind about not having kids. Once Elle leaves
hospital, Paul begs her to work again at Lassiter's, but she is determined
to prove herself to Brad. Carmella gets upset, since only Oliver is allowed
near the baby. Reading in Riley's latest article "trapped with the girl I
love", Elle insists that her career comes first, and he comes nowhere.

Finally able to see the baby, Carmella names her Chloe - whilst berating
herself for popping pills, carrying boxes, and chasing men. Libby attempts
to help Zeke, only for the boy to explain she has not lost a father. Frazer
is pleased when Ringo really eats a whole dinner, yet he has less luck with
Rosetta. Elle lets her guard down in front of Miranda, admitting she thinks
highly of Riley. Karl tries to convince Zeke that he loves him, but the boy
knows he simply hasn't the biological parents who would put him first.

Libby delays leaving with Darren, as her mother's MS symptoms worsen once
more in the summer heat. Marco does not like being sidelined by Carmella,
who only has time for Chloe, while Rebecca & her sons rally round. Daniel
is flat-hunting, but considers returning to Ramsay Street. Dr.Kennedy has
a hard first day back at work, but still finds time to counsel Carmella.
Libby is proud of Ben & Mickey's sweet attempts to help Susan. Once Chloe
comes off the respirator, Carmella at last holds her baby in her arms.

Dr.Kennedy attends to a patient named Richard Aaronow, who's failing fast
as his body rejects a kidney. Carmella's room is so full of visitors, that
Frazer invites them all to a celebratory barbecue - which Daniel must leave
early, alarming Bridget when she overhears why. Miranda discovers Steve's
veterinary accounts are in such a mess, the bank could refuse their loan.
Lunching at her lover's flat, Rachel rejects Bridget's phone calls, little
realising her friend is trying to warn that Mr.Fitzgerald is coming over.

Bridget turns up to alert Rachel, just in time to be caught herself with
Mr.Henderson, and then driven home. Frazer's party changes gear as Zeke &
Declan loudly compete to be the DJ, while Janae is worried to see Darren
arrive. Backing away from a panicking Rachel, Angus meets with Daniel and
claims Bridget has an unrequited crush. Aaronow doesn't want his sons to
learn he's dying, puzzling Karl who knows nothing about the family. A dip
in the music means everyone hears Janae shouting her guilt to Darren.

I know! Let's hope it's not closely edited. There are also plans
for *very* late-night repeats with signing for the deaf -  I know
a lot of people hate these, but they can come in handy when you've
been out all evening, and come home to find the VCR messed up.
