[OTP] Neighbours Spoilers - 2008104
SPOILERS FOR BBC NEIGHBOURS, 31-04 JAN'08 (5313-5315)
New Year's Eve
New Year's Day
While Karl scrubs up (at Steve's request) to observe Bridget's emergency
surgery, Miranda derives comfort in good friend Susan, Declan is arrested
by Sophie to save him from a violent Ned, and Ringo comes to hug Rachel.
When Susan tells Karl her tiredness is so extreme, it cannot be hormonal,
he suggests a second opinion. After Declan escapes from Adam, he's saved
by Nick - who can't believe how an intended kidnap victim just fell into
his lap. Susan is horrified to discover whose car she's been driving.
Susan tells Karl she thought she'd hit the kerb, and Oliver's FOR SALE
sign must have blocked the rear view of Bridget's body. In Laura's hotel
room, Declan doesn't know he's a prisoner, so Nick warns him to contact
no-one. Carmella is almost as rounded as Jarrod as they tell Oliver what
his kid brother did, and Stephanie has to protect him from Riley & Ned.
While Bridget clings to life in a ventilator, Susan confesses that she's
the hit & run driver, sobbing pitifully in the wake of Miranda's fury.
In a police cell, Susan begs Jarrod not to fight her case, just hold her
tightly. Oliver is shocked to get calls from Declan's phone as a stranger
demands $A500,000 to send the boy back in one piece. Concerned by pregnant
Carmella lugging heavy boxes around on her own, Valda & Lou give her the
idea of selling fruit & veg online. Guessing the kidnap is his fault, Paul
confronts Laura who knocks him out with a vase - then she & Nick flee with
a captive Declan. Susan is allowed home on bail, unless Bridget dies.
