[OTP] Neighbours Spoilers - 2007N30
SPOILERS FOR BBC NEIGHBOURS, 26-30 NOV'07 (5291-5295)
Rebecca runs to Paul, crying she's killed Richard. Susan returns obsessed
with golf, she even bought her own clubs. At the hospital, Snr.Cnst.Cooper
is questioning Rebecca, when a doctor reveals that Richard suffered renal
failure. Rosetta rushes off to Italy to visit Rocco's dying sister. Pepper
is shocked to learn she has a pre-cancerous growth - and worse, Adam's new
partner is Sophie Cooper, who knows her from school as Heidi. Richard will
be dead in weeks without a transplant, so Declan asks to donate a kidney.
Declan wants his father kept alive to face justice. To compete with Karl,
Susan turns Ramsay Street into a hazardous driving range. Bridget obliges
Zeke to choose their friendship over loyalty to the other footie boys -
but though Ringo & Rachel come along to watch the game, they keep texting
each other. Karen agrees to testify, after heartfelt pleas from Oliver.
Psychiatrist Dr.Levi advises tormented Paul to find out what happened in
the Lassiter's fire. Rebecca vetoes Declan's plan, so Oliver volunteers.
Rebecca vetoes Oliver's plan, until he calls her his Mum. Since Kirsten
apologises to a gormless Ned, inviting him to a barbecue the next day,
Janae is suspicious - while Tim advises Mickey not to spoil his father's
surprise. An unwary Aaranow is grateful to Oliver, as they go under the
knife. Janae discovers it's Mickey's birthday, so Lou & Harold rush off
to buy gifts, but Ned gives the little boy some honesty instead. Karen
watches over Oliver as Carmella begs Elle to give him another chance.
Jarrod takes Rosetta's advice to approach Diana Murray to fill in while
she's away, but the top barrister fears that a suburban practice would be
too quiet. Oliver is soon discharged from hospital, a benefit of keyhole
surgery. Thanks to Elle declining to renew a lucrative lease, Diana has
great fun helping Jarrod evict Tim from his Lassiter's office. Realising
Janae is her main enemy, Kirsten goads the girl into violence. Diana is
finally won over by Jarrod praising Rosetta for what she's taught him.
Ned is furious with Janae for interfering, since Mickey is all he cares
about. Hanging out at Rachel's house, Ringo teases Karl for practising in
secret to beat his wife at golf. Miranda joins Bridget's supporters group,
only to embarrass her daughter by galloping onto the pitch, to defend her
against a tough boy. Pepper's minor operation goes well, but she's banned
from sex for a month. Though Steve makes Ned apologise to their landlady,
Mickey bitterly rejects Janae, running instead to his mother's arms.

Thursday's episode seems rather peculiar, with Rosetta stories suddenly
vanishing or taking place in her absence, until you know that her actress
Natalie Saleeba was sadly taken ill. This caused some frantic last-minute
rewriting with other characters stepping in, most importantly Jane Allsop
as Diana Murray. If the lady seems familiar, that's because she was Brett
Stark's elegant girlfriend Samantha Spry in 1995; then four years later
Allsop played Shelley Harris, Drew Kirk's hugely pregnant old flame.
