Hi How do you get into the engineers menu on a Pace telewest set top box to 
change the output channel from 52, which is causing interference to my new 
DVD recorder when I try to record terrestrial channel 53(Grampian)
I have searched using google but I get post from years ago and these methods 
don't work.

Enter engineers mode - power up while holding the up & down cursor keys on the front panel - keep
them held til the menu appears. Look for 'remodulator channel' or similar

Hi I have been trying that and I am not getting the engineers menu. All it 
does is reboot to the telewest channel.

You have to hold both up and down buttons at the same time on the STB
itself until the engineers menu appears otherwise it will boot as
normal.
