reception of WS in the Alps
How do you listen to the WS in the Alps?

I have tried the short wave frequencies for Middle East and only get a
very short reception period

I do not think there are any local transmitters re-broadcasting in FM or
in anything.

There is not likely to be reception of DRM from UK down there. DRM gets
as far as the Paris and Belgium as does the 648khz TX and over night
from Droitwich on LW.

The BBC web site seems to major on the Canal Sat subscription service
but a sub for a couple of weeks seems a bit much.

I could go for listening on the Internet but then I would need to pay
through the nose for the hotel Internet feed and the way these are
costed does not really cater for Internet radio.

Happy to put quite bit into the receiver part and am not mean but not
willing to pay for income for the hotel or a subscription which will not
be otherwise used.

Have I missed something - what do others so?
