BBC WS in class with Worldspace
I teach English in a French high school in South West France and I use
BBC Worldservice in my classes on a Worldspace receiver.
Does anyone in this newsgroup use a worldspace receiver or BBC WS in class?
All the best from the sunny Pyrenees.

Hi

I used to listen every day to BBC WS on WorldSpace in south africa.
(AfriStar). I found it was a great service, but since moving to
Canada I'm forced to listen via the internet. (I could look into
Sirius satellite radio, I suppose).

There used to be World Service programming directed at english as
a second language, but I don't know if that is still being made.
Be sure to check out the BBC language website (especially the
'Voices' section) for an incredible wealth of information and
multi-media content on language.
