Is it just me, or is Bacon improving by the month?

He finally seems to have grown up.

He's getting married next month. Perhaps he now has a good woman to
keep him under control!

I've hardly heard him in the nightime slot, except when 5 live did
that link-up with Newsnight a few weeks back. I don't think getting
married would have much to do with any improvement in his broadcasting
technique. Perhaps he's decided he wants to be taken more seriously as
a broadcaster and move away from the light and fluffy. If so, good for
him.
