Probably just as well, judging by the result :) (Not that Scotland are
currently doing any better...)

Heh!
I tried to find the match online and downloaded some peer-to-peer
software, only to be brought to a Chinese site. My Chinese isn't
completely up to scratch, so the menu was pretty useless to me. I
thought I'd cracked it when I saw he whte shirt with the three lions,
but when I saw the word ROUTLAGE on the back, I realised it was a
repeat of last night's match, with a Chinese commentary, to boot!
I had to resort to 5's lousy offering.
They kept blaming the Russians, but what stopped them making their own
arrangements for a competent delivery o their listeners? After all,
it's just radio, not television...

On first tunning in to listen to the match my mind went back to "
baked bean tins and string" and then later i realised they were
actually giving a live International match commentary using someone's
personal mobile phone as there was not even a land line in the
commentary box....... Well talk about BBC cut backs!!!!!

You would have thought the useless cunts would have tested the line out and
would have taken their own equipment with them? After all they manage to
broadcast from the North pole and the middle of the desert OK. and that
mobile line was shit, if that someone's own phone, I'd ask for my money
back.

They do take their own equipment to plug into an ISDN line but if that
line hasn't been installed by the Russian telecom company there's
nothing to test.

That's nonsense. The BBC have broadcast from that studio before. When
Talksport were broadcasting from Russia they had a portable satellite unit
with them. I'm sure the fucking cunts at the BBC have one of those.
