MY RASIST MOAN FOR TODAY
Is it just me or did the fucking Today programme deliberatley
not name the UN troops accused of rape?
They interviewed the girl so they must have know what contingent it was.
Was it because they are blue helments its seen as a UN problem
rather than a spear chucking monkey problem?
Also should we have to listen to Victoria Klimbeys mother give us a lecture
on social services. Was it not her sister she left her with to die and did
fuck
all to check up on her.Just asking

The UN are all sorts, I don't know if they wear country badges and the
victim may not have thought of looking. Anyway, I'm sure that there
are British, U.S. etc. troops committing rapes and murders - I think I
recall a few reported - but not serving as U.N. peacekeepers of course
because we aren't, we're at war.

I thought it was a bit rich. A minor point: the killer was described as
being Victoria's great aunt, so I don't think she's the sister of the
mother.)

FWIW, UN peacekeeping soldiers do have their country badges on their
uniform. Usually just a patch of their national flag.

Which any of us would immediately recognise, from that page in the
encyclopaedia. Of course if the country has had a revolution since
then, then you're stuffed.
