Listen Again - incomplete recordings?
The Today Listen Again page for Thursday 15th May at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/today/listenagain/thursday.shtml
includes these 3 links:

0800-0830

0810 As Gordon Brown struggles with dismal headlines following the
local elections, we talk to him about yesterday's draft Queen's speech
and the year ahead.

0825 Sport with Arlo White.

I chose the 0810 link, but was disappointed to find that the Gordon
Brown interview went silent mid-sentence, some minutes before the end.

So I then listened to the 0800-0830 clip. But that stopped at the same
place (some 28 mins in).

I rarely use this 'listen again' facility, so I'd be interested to
learn whether that sort of flaw is commonplace please?

Not in my experience.

Re: Listen Again - incomplete recordings?
This is not common, in my experience. As it was a topical article
perhaps they rushed it out too quickly without checking the content.
Have you tried since?

From listening, I think Gordon went on a bit long and the sport was
after the nominally 8.30am news bulletin. If, like me, you
unconsciously depend on the rhythm of _Today_ to organise your early
morning ritual, this sort of thing is lethal if public transport
features in your plans.
