Welles hid during the aftermath of the shooting with Larry "Buster" 
Crabbe in Hawaii.

Welles would rage at the TV "you bastards had this coming" and then he 
fell silent for 2 weeks.

Crabbe locked Welles in his bedroom in case Welles left the building 
and did something stupid.

During the time at Crabbe's house Welles claimed to see the ghost of 
Errol Flynn wearing a sailors cap and singing "The Spanish Lady".

He claimed that Mark Twain had shouted through the upstairs window that 
JFK would have far more blood on his hands due to the involvement of US 
Special Forces in Vietnam at that time.

Larry Crabbe took this all very calmly as one would expect from an 
Olympian.

I will return to explain what led Orson Welles to attempt to shoot 
President Kennedy.
