Missing parts on binary files
Someone has just posted "The Glittering Prizes" to
alt.binaries.sounds.radio.bbc.

Unfortunately it appears that about 20% of the parts are missing, using a
newsreader such as Outlook Express (my ISP is Demon, and I have noticed this
often happens).

Is there any free or low-cost way that I can download these binary files in
their entirety?

Yes, but not in this newsgroup.

Here's a suggestion for free: try alt.binaries.sounds.radio.bbc

That's about the most unhelpful suggestion I've seen for a while.
You'll have to get away from using your isp as a news client.
I've no experience of this sort of thing, but look up Giganews on
google.

Re: Missing parts on binary files
I was with demon and suffered always with files being deleted so that it was
impossible to download anything complete. Answer? Changed to Virgin. All
there!!!
