New to This Newsgroup

Excuse me, I've been lurking for a couple of weeks now and I've a
question.  Am I right in thinking that no programs are actually posted
here?  If not, does bbc-4 have an alternate newsgroups where programs
are posted?

Not a newsgroup but all the programmes

Many Radio 4 Programs are held on the BBC website for download for seven days.

Lots of old Radio 4 series are re-run on BBC7

Also many Radio 4 programs are posted to the newsgroup 

alt.binaries.sounds.radio.bbc

Though these are posted by fans and are not always legal.
